Writing Styles: Notice



Notice:  A displayed sheet, etc. with announcement; intimation, warning; formal declaration of intention. A written piece of information whose purpose is to give communication.


Format and features includes the word: Notice
Include a Heading, Date and Body (text)
Include: what is being organised, who is organising, date, time, venue; name and person writing the notice (contact person); how to contact (address, phone number, e-mail, etc), who is sponsoring the event (such as community council, village hall, local school, Neighbourhood Watch, etc.)

The following is a few examples of a Notice. The last is an example template using a WORD document.
